couple of questions...

    i recently installed a nec nd3500ag and before i installed it it fell to the floor but not from a high place this is the first question does that damage the lens?

    then when i incerted a dvd i recorded on a laptop and id couldnt read it right but when i incerted it to the dvd rom it worked so this is the second question the media i used was a 4x comp usa generic dvd+r do they have problems with that media ?

    The damage to the drive would depend on how far it fell and what type floor it fell onto. In either case it probably wasn't too good for it. Hard to say what may have been damaged or came loose inside.

    it was like a 4-5 inch fall to a wood floor cand that kind of fall screw it up ?

    My first guess is that it probably didn't hurt it if under 6 inches. Of course electronic equipment is not ment to be bounced so all you can do is try it and see.
