Hey all got a issue Im sure has been covered before..but i have "looked" and seen some info but not the same issue. So I have a 5g 60gb ipod and i cannot get the video to work. I have downlaoded all vids from itunes(both videopodcast and tv shows) I get audio but no video!! I have ensure the tv out option is set to no...but that is the best i have tried. I am thinking about rolling back to 1.0 but just want to know if that is an 1.1 issue or something diffrent!? Thanks in advance. Saint btw killer forums!! glad i found em!!
1.1 most certaintly sounds like the issue you're encountering. I'd suggest downgrading to 1.0 as soon as you get a chance and that should fix all of your video problems.
The easiest way to downgrade would be to download & install firmware version 1.0 to your PC. Then, open the 1.0 Updater, hook your iPod up to your computer, & once the initialization process is complete, click 'restore'
