I need an easy way converting "NTSC DVD-R" to "PAL DVD-R"

If anyone knows a single program to do this. I would be happy to hear about it?

    Hi DK-TOPO,

It's a frequent question. And unfortunately I never saw an easy answer...

Are you talking of a commercial movie DVD or of a home video DVD ?

If it's a commercial movie DVD, I don't know any one-click transcoding tool that can perform such a convertion.

If it's a DVD made from home video (shot with a camcorder) then NeroVision Express can help you. But the image quality will suffer a visible loss.

By the way, are you sure you need to convert. Most PAL DVD players can read NTSC discs and output pseudo-PAL signal (also called PAL 60, that is, PAL at 60 Hz frequency). And most recent PAL TVs support pseudo-PAL signal.

Some PAL DVD players can even read NTSC discs and output a true PAL signal (I mean at 50 Hz). My JVC player for instance :)

    Cheers,

    Daba

    Hi,

Well, yes I'm sure I need to convert. It's commercial DVD's I need to convert.

In Denmark most TV's need 50 HZ, 25.000 fps.
