Hello everyone, hope you can help me with this problem I am having. I have 2 avi files that the play very well with nero show time but as soon as I convert them to dvd using neroI get crackling sound through out the whole movie, is there a way to stop this? I have not tried any other programs but should I?

Thanks again to all that respond.

the old man himself, thoiught you'd disappeared or sumthin.

Dont like nero its to finicky on the encoding of avi files.Suggest you try vso divx to dvd with the same files. You may not be able to load them into the free version as recently i have seen it reject files due to a decoding issue with that program getting old.Try the new version there is a week trial with it but you get a watermark but for comparrison ,want to see if the cracklings gone.

    Get here at filepedia.

just here to help young man.Nero's a good application but it cant do everything perfectly.I tend to go for the apps that are designed whole heartedly for what theyre made for.In this case scuba was right on the money with divx to dvd.

    take care gil
