I just finished encoding an xvid mkv file using GKNot. THe file came out AWESOME (granted its over a gig in size) but i made one major mistake. I encoded the wrong FREAKIN audio lol :). I have the directors commentary instead of teh sound to the movie. Did i mess up at the dvd decrypter part or actually setting it up gknot? I was just wondering if its a quick fix or do i need to go through the six hour encoding process again. lol What i was originally trying to do is go from a pal dvd source to an ntsc dvd. But the suggestion made by celtic_d made no sense to me because im still a noob. So uhh any help would be greatly appreciated......

edit: i played the vob in vlc player and its the right audio, my encoded mkv isnt though. Only virtualdubmod does and taht doesnt offer audio

edit: I heard you can add audio using virtualdub but virtual dub doesnt read my mkv file :(

You would need VirtualDubMod, however its mkv support is out of date as the popup states when you first run it.

What you want is mmg/mkvmerge which is part of mkvtoolnix. With it you can replace the audio, can also mux the video as native MPEG-4.
