crash and burn

    my system crashed last night, i dont have a clue as to why. iwas on the internet and listning to music and it froze. so i had to cut it off and restart it. it took a long time to come back on but it did. now my big hdd wont open...it says the drive is not formatted. is there anyway i can get the info off of this drive before i format it?
