I have downloaded Craxtion and the the OCX files and put them in the same folder. I am able to open Craxtion but when I try and do anything it gives me this error...what could be the problem. Thanks for your help.
the only thing i can think of (from what you type) is your trying to open files that do not contain .xbe files make sure u choose the correct folder to where you send you game via ftp or where you extracted your iso
When I take that .xbe file from the Craxtion file folder and move it to the game folder it will let me create an iso...is this the correct way? Then it doesn't give me that error. I FTP the game into a separate folder...say "Top Spin" the I try and make an iso with that folder after opening it but it gives me that error. Then once I open the folder and put the .xbe file inside of it, it then allows me to make an iso. Does this sound correct?
nah you need to just choose from the tools menu to patch .xbe then you select the folder to where you extracted iso is or where youve just ftp it and craxtion finds all the xbe files patches them then you just create the iso with the folder same folder of files and burn as an image
peachymo your right I patch n batch the file straight of then move on to extration DaOsT even if it is a single game I am backing up
Okay... NO...I DID NOT put the OCX files in the Windows folder or Windows 32 folder...should I have? What I did was create a file on my desktop named Craxtion, then downloaded the application, then put the OCX files in the same folder...also, for some reason I could not extract the runtime files...it just asks me if I want to run VBrun? What is that all about? I think that is what it says...I am real close to making my first game and appreciate the help...thanks!!!
