Hello I have Partition Magic software, which I believe its for creating or subdivision hard drive in the system. Now Im using windows xp 80gb hard drive with 1024mb ram and I only have C drive so I would like to know if its better to have another drive where I can at least transfer My documents to by dividing my HD instead of having only C as only one drive for my system? What is the advantage and disadvantage of dividing hard drive? Thank you in advance.
I have my C drive for my System files..and my E drive for everthing els....their are no disadvanteges to it......It is a good Idea if your system fails you could install XP back to the C drive and still have all your files.....You'll just have to go and reinstall all of your Applications.......But it is a real good idea too
Thank you for your information tocool4u2 and thats what I was thinking of doing to keep all my files and documents in another drive to keep things safe.
