Hi, My brother and me go Free Running alot. Most of the time we make little videos which I later make onto DVD and give to my friends/family. I was wondering if anyone here would know how to create a channel on IRC to allow my Linux computer to host these files for FTP only. I have read a few things and I can use mIRC. I am no pro at it but I can navigate with it well. I have also read a litle on running bots and have one ready to use on this same Linux PC, but I don't know how to go about doing the rest. Mainly I want to use my own machine for space purposes.(haha not have to $$ a website seeing as how most of my movies are 300 to 500 mb or more.) Thanks, Bremen
just open a room name if its not a used name it will open you in a room alone. you dont use mirc to ftp.. you host files that you use commands to get access like my irc thing i used to do had a trigger !movies or trigger !mp3z other then that you can do the direct dcc sends.
ok i have it set up where i ahve my channel and ppl can jon send/recive files...how do get it where ppl can join themselves w/o me ahving to do any work on it? TIA Bremen
