I created an xvid from a DVD following this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/copy_dvd_to_xvid.cfm I got all the way to the end and I have audio that syncs up, but now when I go to the properties it's only going at 19 frames / second. I notice this when I watch it. How can I correct this? Or what did I do wrong?
Smart Ripper, VFAPI, devapi3 XviD? That guide is obviously way old. Probably easiest would be to try something like AutoGK, as it will do most of the work for you.
Or open the VOB ripped by Smartripper and use DVD2AVI (alas, It will create only a 'mute' AVI. The sound can be added separalely and is extracted by DVD2AVI as a WAV/AC3/... file, depending on your DVD2AVI settings. You can add it to the 'mute' AVI with VirtualDubMod, later (Stream___Stream List___Add and File___Save , with Video Set on Direct Stream Copy).
