how can i take mp3 songs and make a cd using my cd burner do i have to convert the song? and what is the best software to use for this?
Most burning softwares (e.g. Nero, Feurio) are able to create audio CDs from mp3s. Reading the software's manual/help file might be a good idea. Yes. Most programs can do it on the fly while burning but you can also do it manually before. - Burning on the fly: Feurio - Converting mp3 to .wav: foobar2000 (Do a "foobar2000" forum search and you'll find another thread where I gave a detailed explanation recently) - For burning audio CDs from .wav files you can use any other burning software, e.g. Nero; free: Exact Audio Copy, Burrrn
Just select "Audio CD" and drag'n'drop mp3 files. Nero should convert them automatically. In case your mp3(pro) plugin doesn't work get a lame mp3 plugin for nero at http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org
