Hi, i hope this hasn't already been asked before but here goes. Recently i got some high quality avi files which i want to put on DVD, there are 5 in all which total a size of 3.2 Gb. I want to know how i can put them on DVD so that they will play in a regular DVD player, and also, if possible, have some menu's so that i can skip to a different movie if required. Any help appreciated. Thanks, John
Actually you cannot put all those onto a DVD because currently they are in AVI format. When they are converted to MPEG-2 they will be like 9 GB. You can put 2 movies in one DVD if you'd like. You can use TMPGEnc to convert your movies to MPEG-2, than use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.5 (the easiest and best) to author meaning create menu's and cut chapters in your movies. Below is a link to a guide that explains how you can make AVI files to MPEG-2 than put them onto DVD. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm Also, since you are going to use more than one DVD-R, you might want this picture. Hope that helps ! Regards, DiRect
