Ok, I've searched everywhere to no avail. How do I create an installation cd of a program I have on my computer.
If there is no setup.exe ; you can make one and then burn it to a Cd with an autorun.inf file. There are programs that will help you do just that. Google your way to " Installer +Program " .
Okay, I found the setup.exe file, it was in the InstallShield Installation Information folder. Now which files do I burn to the Cd. I made the autorun.inf file. I've tried burning just the files in the above mentioned folder with the autorun file, I've tried burning those files along with the files that are in the folder in the Program Files folder, and in all cases it won't run setup, I get error code -6003.
I would like very much to help you ~~ smiles ! BUT - I dont know what application you trying to put on that Cd - I dont know how you have made that autorun.inf file --- your autorun.inf is not done properly is my guess! Good Luck. Programs when they install , do create a lot of files and they are not necessarily in one folder -- ! So, sorry , this is one thing that a person cannot do, guess what you are doing !
1. I am trying to put several programs on cd(each prog to it's own cd) but for example, how about mobile phone tools 2. I just did a google, and one site said: [autorun] open=setup.exe
There are a few autorun.inf maker program available for free on the web ! here's one : - http://www.ashzfall.com/products/autorun/
