    Hey all,

Having trouble cropping an avi file with virtualdubmod...I know to use the null transform in the filter option...but I don't know how to then save the output as an avi file...I tried using the direct stream copy but I just get the same thing...the original avi has HUGE chinese subtitles so I know the only way to remove them is to crop them...any help is appreciated!!! thanks!

Direct streaming you just get the source. Filters require full processing.

Yes, but enable Video / Compression and select your choice ... I usually use Cinepack or DivX or XviD. Your file shoule be +/- 1Gb
