When I want to copy a DVD I get the message DVDXCopy can't copy this DVD because it is CSS protected. I can use another way to copy a DVD by using programs like DVD Shrink but I bought this program because of the easy way to use. Does anybody have a clue what went wrong (the DVD I wanted to copy is Spirit). Thank you in advance
If X copy works on other movies, then its the movie itself. Is Spirit an animated Disney movie. I think it is. Disney movies are starting to be somewhat of a problem. I see more and more posts on them. Seems you have to try different work arounds to get it copied. If your other movies work with X copy, its not the software. Just don't be surprised when Disney dvds give you problems. I had problems years back coping their VHS movies, now its showing up on DVDs too. Jerry
It's not only the Disney DVD's but all the movies. Some older concert DVD's work but the rest of them give a message this DVD is CSS protected. Thank you for your reply.
Hi 2070107, Check 321 studios site and see if you have the newest version of your program. Updates are free. I went through 4 updates with Express in a short period of time of purchase. They still had problems with some older versions. I finally got Express to work as promised, but go to other programs for most movie copies. My main choice is Anydvd with Clonedvd. Jerry
