    Hello,

I'm using Cucusoft iPod Video Converter v2.12. I recode a movie and it updates to the iPod fine, however, the sound is off a little from the video. Has anyone else noticed this and can anyone offer any solutions? Thanks in advance!

Adjust frame rate: click "Advance", choose "29.97", "23.976" to try.
Play the iPod video with iTunes first before syncing to your iPod.

I was having terrible sync problems with cucusoft until last night. I uninstalled all the DVD to ipod/recoding programs I had installed in the last week and a half and then just reinstalled cucusoft by itself. For what ever reason it started working correctly.

In many cases very long movies are encoded at 23.975 for NTSC to save on disk space. If the Disk is packed with DVD extras then you are likely looking at a lower framrate. I have a video editing program that will tell me the specs on a VOB or mpeg. I have found that it's quicker in some cases to rip the DVD and look at the frame rate of the ripped file and then encode with that framerate in cucusoft FROM the dvd (not the ripped file).
