    Hello

I have a music album on my hdd BUT the whole album is just one big file. i also have a .cue file with the song titles and durations, soo there should be a program that will break them down into individual songs.

anybody know which program i need?
(i have googled in my question already but with no luck)

    thanks ahead of time. :)

yeah there's a few. I use MP3 Surgeon, but Mp3 splitter and joiner is another one. If you wish to burn the album to audio CD, without having the annoying gaps in between tracks, use EAC (exact audio copy). It will split the file up and burn it right to CD, skipping the step of actually separating each track to single mp3s.

I'm not sure that it will work with only these tools; a .cue- file contains informations about images of a CD or DVD.
I think you have the IMAGE of an audio CD, right?

You'll have to mount this image first (or burn it with Nero or CDRWin for example).
THEN you can rip the CDs to single mp3s.

    My advice:

angelS111: You never seen .cue+.mp3 combination before? It's not image... It's just hole cd in one file (or two :p). These are common in mixed cd:s (when DJ has mixed tracks together).
