Do you mean to put the mp3's into a game you've burned or simply put onto your hard drive to listen too?

Never thought of doing that myself but if it accepts mp3 format thats awesome!

    Amped with Ferry Corsten etc!

hmm not sure to be honest. I would try and find other music files you have saved before from CD and slot them in that folder. Will have a look tomorrow

Cheak back tomarrow. I found the folder last time i was exploring in the e;\ partion. I have no songs on my HDD right now but i'm trid right now. So i'm going to rip one onto my HDD tommorw mornig and find the folder. But i don't know if just ftping mp3 in that folder the xbox well see it. Becuase when u are copying a cd to the xbox HDD the xbox stores the title of it in a weird txt file that i havn't been able to open. Just check back tommarow moring.

here u go /E/TDATA/fffe0000/music/. Thats where u find the music files on the HDD. In the music folder each folder in there is a soundtrack(a cd). I only but three songs from a cd i had laying around. The xbox saves them and names tham as files with a-f and 0-9 like how gameshark codes work. Then theres a db. file(data base file) where the track and soundtrack info is stored. what your asking is hard and can can propuply do it if uconvert the files to wma. also i'm guessing it has to be 128 bit becuase thats how the xbox bit rate is it to rip a song. I never trid it but if u can get some songs convert them to wma. okay never mind i just tryed ftping files into the xbox folder with the other songs. then botted into the M$ dash. the xbox didn't see them. I'm guessing becuase when it's ripping isit making a dirtory and making a db file. So i don't know if u undersatnd me becuase i'm getting lost too. So sorry i sure u can't do it like that. But u can do go buy a pack of cheap 10 cd-rw and just burn the mp3's into a audio cd and use the M$ dash to rip them on to the HDD. I know this is going to take lots of time but thats the onlu way i see u can do it. So sorry i couldn't help. I sure with if i had more time mabey i could of gotten it but i still can't find a program that can open db file. The closest thing i found so far is notepad.

use a program like nero to make a audio cd out of your mp3's. I recoomand u use cd-rw because u can use them over and over agian. Don't boot in to evox just boot to the M$ dash. thats it put a cd in and it should start playing it automaticly. stop is and you see just refur to your xbox manule.
