Hi i have a leadtek winfast 2000 deluxe card. I want to be able to capture video using the CVD capture specs. 352X480. but the winfast program doesnt let me capture at that format. i also want to ne able to use variable bitrate along with constant. Do u know of any programs that have this flexibilty. I used Ulead video studio 7 but when i try to capture i get an error using any of the mpeg formats, Something about graph failed or something like that. I dont want to convert the captured video. I want to capture directly at these settings. Thanks

Generally Speaking the Capture resolution that you get to choose in your Capture Software is Determined By the Capture Card Not the Software..It will usually List all supported Resolutions...It seems that this Resolution should be supported By Most...When ever I recomend a Capture Program that Captures to Mpeg2 I usualy recomend "Intervideo WinDVR 3.0" For me It captures the Best Quality Mpeg2 files than any Capture program ,I do not Remember if it captures useing VBR But I do know that it Produces the best quality Mpeg2 files of any Capture program I have Tried and I pretty Much own all of the ones that are any Good ,Another Great feature with the Capture program is that it will capture directly to Dolby Digital AC3 which is the best Format for makeing DVD"s....Cheers
