Picked up a cyberhome dx162d dual layer burner at Best Buy for about $50 recently. Had good luck so far. Anyone else have any experience with it? Im wondering who makes the drive (is it "re-badged"?)

    thanks - jpcm

for $50 you should have got a NEC 3520 from newegg. And, I've never heard of it.

Yeh, I was taking a chance with it, but I had some leftover gift cards from Christmas and figured Id give it a chance... If I was spending my $$, I would have bought the NEC, but no problems so far.
Besides, I bought it before the NEC deal happened.
    thanks.
