I've read the various guides on making DVDs but I didn't find any about PowerProducer. I bought a DVD Rewriter a few months ago and got the PowerProducer software with it. I took a quick look at it and it seemed fairly straight-forward. The DVD rewriter didn't work so I had to take it back and get a new one which had completely different software. So, now I'm thinking about buying PowerProducer and was just wondering what you guys thought of it. Is it easy to use? Does it produce good results? I read a little bit about it in another thread but it didn't really give much info. I got the impression that you can make a DVD by burning the .avi files with PowerProducer rather than having to convert them over to MPEG-2. Is that right? If not, I'm also looking for a fairly easy (easy being the key word) to use converter. It doesn't matter if I have to pay for it. I'm just looking for the simplest one out there that still produces good results. Any suggestions/advice would be really great.
Well I use a program called Ulead DVD Movie Factory it is very easy straight forward and all u have to do is go through the wizard. Although it not free and the most flashy its pretty basic with some extra goodies. Here is the website http://www.ulead.com/dmf/runme.htm Here is a guide. http://www.videoforums.co.uk/guide-moviefactory-33.htm Good luck and keep me posted....
