d-link router and nat.error

    I have a d- link di-604 router and i know how to pull my router up on the net (http://198.162.0.1.etc)but then it gets kinda confusing because every time i look up a how to on fowarding ports they use linksys as an example! get me?

    i don't do port forwarding, i just ticked 'nat' i think and that was probablt it. any other pc i plug into it can get on the internet fine but can't see other pc's on my network. i didn't mess with it anymore as don't need my pc's to talk to each other so haven't done anything clever with my router
