daemon tools download

    downloaded the daemon tools-have shortcut on the desktop--program won't run from clicking the desktop or going into the programs and trying to start it

    what do I do now

    daemon tools runs in the background continuously. look in the system tray (bottom right) there should be a silver and red lightning bolt. right click on it, select virtual cd/dvdrom. select device 0, then click mount image. find your image file and click ok. then open my computer and the virtual drive should be there next to your CDROM drives

    its not there,should I try removing the program and reinstalling it?

    you have to restart the computer after installing

    ok-I did that the first time but may have entered the startup programs and shutoff the daemon tools startup
