Hey, I am in big trouble. This is my second xbox and I think I have already screwed it up. Ok I installed a softmod on my xbox. And the run linux file I had let me backup my ms dash but I chose to back it up to the e drive instead of the c drive. Well I tried to load the ms dash and it said c:/msdash.xbe does not exist. So I went to the file explorer (by the way I am using unleash x) and try to copy the whole backup folder from e drive to c drive and I do. But it still wont let me load the ms dash. I would ftp one of my friends dash over but I cant ftp for some reason. I also cant connect to xbox live. I think I am going to be forced to have a modded dash xbox with no xbox live. That's what your supposed to do. You don't want it to back it up to C because C is erased and the softmod and dash files are installed. All you have to do is select the option of "restore ms backup" within the softmod setup screen. It will return your C to how it was. May be different with the new softmod installer 3.0 but you can't use the ms dash when it's softmodded. Just have to restore your ms backup to go play on xbox live.
