I have a strange problem.Some of my avi file recordings on sd card wont play . Ive tried numerous sd cards over time and various players ,WMP, VLC, Wondershare -all play some and not all.All sd cards give general damged /codec messages and i have formatted them and still same probs. I even tried uploading to Youtube and they failed to process. I would say 60% don't play.This is odd given they are all recorded on 1 dashcam and all are same file types. There is probably a batch of no more than 5 sequence that play (ie 101 to 105).Never had a run of 6 playing in sequence.
Have you tried scanning for errors with Windows? Windows can sometimes fix errors on SD and USB thumb drives. I'm assuming you've tried to copy the files to your hard disk? https://iboysoft.com/data-recovery/fix-corrupted-sd-card-using-cmd.html
