Hey - I am trying to burn a data disc with all my photos on it. I have about a gb of photos. I am using "Nero SmartStart". When I go to "Burn Data Disc" then photos, it says I can't burn a data disc with a DVD-R, and asks me to put in a CD-R. Does anyone know how I can burn my photo collection of jpegs onto a DVD-R disc, and what program I can use besides Nero? Thankyou!
A few reasons this could be going on... You do not have a DVD burner so no DVD options is available for you to burn to DVD. You only have CD options listed in Nero Start Smart. You are choosing to burn a DATA CD and not a DATA DVD. To burn a DATA DVD make sure you have a DVD burner then start Nero and choose to show both CD/DVD Options. Then hover over the DATA options (PAPER ICON) and choose make DATA DVD. Then add your pictures to burn.
