Has anyone else had a problem with this disc? It is a huge file and even trying to do movie only with CloneDVD or DVD Shrink it's still too big. When using CloveDVD I get an "unknown error" message. I really don't want to have to invest in a dual layer disc for this movie. Please help....

I usually encounter problems like this with concert DVD's. The reason is probably because the audio track is High Quality stereo. How many audio tracks do you see in Shrink for this title? And how big are they? A couple hours of High Quality Stereo can take up to a gig in disc space. I know Shrink alone does not compress audio.

It's possible there might be a secondary 5.1 or 2 channel audio track on there also. If it is the case, you will have to use one of these to be able to Shrink it enough to fit on a DVD5

Pick one version or the other (with or without extended music performances) and you will be alright...

I was able to burn the entire disc today with CloneDVD2 with no problems. Go figure... I haven't looked at it yet but I heard some other bad reviews about it.

I backed up this movie fine with AnyDVD 6.0.1.1 and NERO Recode2. The only thing was the extended musical performance icon did not work on either of my DVD player with neither my original "FullFrame" purchased copy or my back-up copy. I enjoyed the this documentary. I appreciate him giving back to his fans with a block party and filming it for the whole world to see this somewhat cultural event. I purchased the "Unrated" version which for DVD's in most cases is never full screen a plus. It's good to see how he's really just a normal person wanting to interact with everyday people and he brought along a few of Hip-Hop & R&B friends to do so. Nice to know he's ok and not some nut job that the media made him out to be because he fell-out with a TV series.

They tell you on the DVD that the icon may not work with some DVD players. That's why I opted to only backup the title without the extended musical performances...
