if the cable came in a packet or a box get the name off it and google it to find the correct drivers to work it .if your laptop runs on windows vista you have another problem ,vista has compatability issues ,you may be very lucky and get a driver that works on vista. i got hold of an older dell desktop only cost €50 and its got two 9 pin seriel ports and two usb ports i use this when flashing boxes and best of all its windows xp so no vista issues .or if you have a mate with an older desktop maybe you could flash it on that .the other problem you have is the dreaded nagra 3,i hope you get it working vicky.

I bought it off of ebay, No idea what brand it is will have to get in touch with the seller. I am running windows seven, so don't know wether that would be causing me any problems?
    Thanks for your suggestions.
