Is anyone able to help with a debug problem on my Nokia box. I have tried to do this myself but now get a message konite nicht korrekt. The box is Nokia 2x intel. when I use boot manager I keep getting time out in RHS client. When I enter commands in COM terminal it says icache on then I enter chorus 800000 but the command line stays blank and moves up a line repeatedly every few seconds. Can anyone help me correct this.
Are you sure you own a Nokia BMon1.0 2xIntel? If yes the ppcboot was not transfered to the box. Disable firewall, av soft and so on.
I have disabled the firewall When I type icache I get message icache on Then I type chorus 800000 I get elfcopy failed: 16
The ppcboot must be transfered to the box for a nokia BMon1.0. You start the ppcboot with chorus 800000. If there is no ppcboot you get elfcopy failed: 16. You have a network problem. Set the network card to Tbase 10 half duplex and disable your av soft.
Thanks for your help I have set the network card as suggested and can ftp to my sagem box. I used the same settings as that on my Nokia box along with a null modem cable. I have tried another ppcboot file but got the same result. I then tried entering 800000 instead of chorus 800000 this time I did not get the elfcopy message. When I entered all the other commands I still got no reply from any except the last one go 10000100 the reply was Branching to 0x1000010. The command line then kept moving upwards every couple of seconds and the LCD kept flashing reset. I don't have any anti-virus software on the computer I use to connect to the box. Have you or anyone else experienced this before.
You should see in the first bootmanager window on top if the ppcboot is transfered or not. Ftp has nothing to do with booting over network. The windows firewall must be disabled.
I have disabled the windows firewall. In the top panel after entering reset command it says something like sent 414 blocks but then keeps repeating itself and the LCD says reset.
Thats ok. You have to choose one reset, press the up arrow button and if you see the numbers release the button and do the flashreset.
