DCR-TRV280 Firewire Problem

    I'm looking for a solution to my firewire problem. My PC does not see my TRV-280 Son camcorder. In the past I have successfully connected TRV-320 via firewire. I have also successfully connected my TRV-280 via USB. But still no luck with firewire. The PC doesn not recognize it. Any suggestions? ThankS

    It could be a problem with the cable. Try jiggling it a little, at both connection points.

    I have tried the "jiggle" technique to no avail!
