i am getting really fed up with dealextreme i ordered on jan 23 and its still not here on the 20th, pay no attention to the 1-3 days shipping i wish i had known this and ordered elsewhere.
Where are you currently located? Was the item even in stock? I know DX is slow (since they are from Hong Kong) but I have had items wait for a month as well. An item in stock usually takes 1-3 days to be "shipped" and about 10-12 days to reach North Carolina, USA. The times an item is back-ordered I have to wait up to a month. When buying from DX you have to have patience. Your trading off price for that. I recommend you do not buy from them if you need the item in the near future.
Im in MI also. And DX lately has been beyond slow, I placed a order 1/20/2009 and it just shipped! And it was in stock when I ordered it LOL. Probably take all most another month to get here. smacko you in southern MI? Just wondering.
I'm in the uk and when i placed my order they said on there site that they had acekard2 in stock but when i tryed to track my order all it said was they were waiting for a delivery. But puting 2 and 2 together they prob order there cards from china and uptill about 4 days ago chinas factorys and most companeys close down for 2 weeks for the chinese new year. But it would be nice to tell there costumers this
4 days ago? January 24th, 2009 to January 30th, 2009 should have been Chinese new year. All most a month ago.
I've officially hit the month mark for ordering it. It said it was shipped out of Hong Kong on feb 9th so i'm still waiting
Actually there shipping only takes a couple weeks to a month. Its the month it takes them to even package and ship a in stock item that slows it down LOL. Hence the 2 month wait.
I think the shipping is very quick, usually less than a week to the UK, but the loooooonnnnnnng wait for it to be despatched is the killer. I think the despatch time has got longer since I started ordering early last year. But its still cheap!
I ordered from them January 23rd, my item just shipped out. It was in stock, stated 1-3 days to ship... lol Has anyone ever tried to contact them for help? Actually, my question should be, has anyone ever received a response from a question you've sent them? I emailed them at the first of January and I'm still waiting for a response!
If you submit a ticket they usually respond in under 2 days. Thats how my last package got shipped, I submitted a ticket and ask what was taking so long for a in stock item? The status turned to packaging within hours then it shipped the next day. Honestly I think they are so backloged that they lost track and forget to ship some orders. There is no doubt in my mind that it would have never shipped if I had not ask about my order. Like others have said in the past there service had been pretty good and it use to only take 2-3 weeks from placing a order to it arriving at my door.
i agree with oosel, I've contacted them twice about the shipping and an update and every next day my shipment is updated, could be a coincidence or there is something to it, also my package finally hit the US, i hope it doesn't take 2 more weeks, lol
