Strange events are taking place at my school. About two weeks ago a girl got killed in a car accident when her boyfriend was trying to overtake another car. This week a guy got killed when he crashed on his motorcycle. Today after school a student got hit by a car walking across the street. I am super sad, although they were not close friends. My school is in such a congested area!!
just make sure you look both ways before crossing the street, always wear your helmet, and make sure you got enough road to pass. or just stay indoors and never go outside and you'll be fine. well then you could slip and fall in the bathtub, or get electrocuted in the kitchen, or get food poisoning, or your roof could fall in and crush you.... well ok nevermind, we're doomed no matter what.
Kinsa, it is always sad when deaths, especially young folks, happen in your community, even if you weren't close friends with them. The saddest part is the fact those deaths could have easily been prevented. Please remember that, once you get your drivers license.
yeah, im apprehensive to get it now. of the two times my mom came to school to pick me up she almost got in an accident both times.
i think most of it comes down to people just are not careful anymore. cell phones, make-up, reading the paper, whatever. people do all kinds of stupid stuff while they are supposed to be driving.
Especially the cell phones. On my way to work one day when I lived in WV I met a car on the top of a steep hill in the center lane. Luckily I was paying attention and was barely able to avoid him. It was a WV state trooper and he was on his friggin cell. You'd think they would know better! Ya just gotta keep your eyes open and always figure the other guy is a total idiot!
wow, people must have a lot of problems. the sad thing is, deaths could be prevented if parents raised their kids properly.
we need better gun laws.i always say if the criminals had all the guns all the suicidal people wouldnt have access to them.no,that cant be right....excuse me while i rethink my philosophies...
The columbine incident was pretty bad. Didn't Marilyn Manson get some of the blame for that because of his music.
I blame the rappers Seriously though, deaths close to home, even if not to the heart are very sad. I remember one kid at my school dying of a brain heamorrage last year. Man it is just so shocking.
wow, i do remember the alumni soldeir who died fighting in Iraq. very sad, i saw the funeral processions. his body was so mangled that his family couldn't tell it was him. he had stepped on a bomb. just want to thank all the soldiers fighting for us, even though i'm against the war.
i remember when i was in SC during my middle school one typical morning on my way to the bus station i got hit by a car at like 6:00am in the morning the guys and my uncle though i was dead actually i got couple big azz bruises and fell asleep.
you can't always blame the parents for how people turn out.from what i hear the columbine incident the teenagers were outcast and on very unsafe medication that made them go nuts.
I too was hit by a car when I was 7 years old. My daughter, who is that age now, knows to look both ways, twice. I was in the hospital for a week with that one.
i did look both ways b4 i got hit by a car unfortunately i didnt see the car cause my eyes were stuffed.now i wear contact lens everyday been wearing them since i was 13.
