We bought for our daughter a dual deck player about three years ago. I believe it was a Samsung, but I can't remember. Anyway, when I play backups in our Pannasonic DVD-CV51 (5 disc changer about four / five years old) I have no problems. Mind you I have to eject and insert again sometimes but never a problem playing the whole disc. On my daughters dualie, she'll get through one or two chapters and it dies. No playing beyond that point. Any ideas why?
Since she has a ton of VHS tapes, we'd like to replace her current one with a better unit. Any suggestions?

I really like Go Video. I have a dual deck VCR and a DVD recorder from them. The quality is excellent and have lasted for years with no problems. Check them out here http://www.govideo.com
