    Hi everybody,

I hope I put this question in the right place, not sure where I should put it.

I've recorded a concert of BBcI (an interactive channel on the bbc in England).

The sound has been compressed, I read somewhere that It can be decompressed.

Is this true?, if so what program do I need?

If you mean by compressed that the high and low volumes are about the same level so the music sounds dull then you could rip the sound track off the video and then use a program like Cool Edit Pro and it's normalize feature to expand the dynamic range. Not a free program but there should be other sound editing software out there that does the same thing.....maybe Audacity does that too but not familiar with it.
