deinterlace

    I have a heavily interlaced movie which I want to deinterlace.I've tried using avisynth with decomb plugin but it never seems to work for me.(Guess I'm doing something wrong!)Is there another program I can use which is simpler and with good results?thanks for info.

    Can't see the point, if you're copying a DVD to DVD-R. You can't really make it "really" progressive and you would also have to re-encode the video in order to achieve the delacing, which weakens the video quality further.

    What the heck VCD Galaxy has to do with DVD to DVD-R copying?
