hi folks, just a quick question, i have a delayed menu and buttons setup for my main menu of a dvd, i have everything working ie. the menu plays and the buttons fade in a just the right time, but my problem now is how to get the highlight of the first button to fade in as well. as soon as the menu starts the highlight is there but it hovers over nothing as the buttons don't come in till about 12secs into the menu. how i've set it up... i first added a video to the menu, then positioned the buttons and set the cell devision up, the rendered the motion menu with intro setting of Cut All Objects, i then made all of the button inivisble and rendered the dvd, but when i play it the highlight is on from the beginning of the menu. is there anyway to time the highlight so that it comes on when the buttons fade in. Thanks in advance for any help given.
Nope. What you can do, is use switched menus, and have an arrow (or something) pointing to the hilighted item, instead of actually using hilights. Everything would then fade in, as it's all part of your rendered motion menu.
