hi yall, first of all i would like to say this is my friends dumbass not mine..., i softmodded my buddies xbox(MA), he said he deleted something thinkin it was a music file? i don't know exactly, but anyways now he is receiving error 16(dashboard files missing or something or other)i have read up on how to fix it but the question i am wondering is how i can unlock his drive to bring it to retail state when i don't have his eeprom and have no way of retreiving it now.. can anyone help, thanks!
Hi Guys I'm in a bit of trouble . I softmodded my brother-in-laws box and he deleted everything on th orriginal drive. Its locked and kind of dead is there a way to fix it or do i need a new box.I tried putting a chip in it to unlock but it wont help i tried all the auto installers but it wont get past the hd check on the box. please help.
Dumb Question but can the box boot any games at all? , reason i'm asking is because a game like Forza will update Xbox live and put it back to factory like settings .. If He deleted the eeprom , He's screwed .
Nah no games booted BUT i did figure it out. I put a solderless chip in and booted slayers. then i took out the chip and redid it without the format features. thank you for the reply.
