hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how to delete a partition in leopard without having to reinstall everything? I have 2 partitions... The primary partition, with OSX and my stuff... The second partition had various files on it, but I deleted them... so basically the second partition is going to waste, and I simply want to merge them so it's ONE hdd partition, instead of 2... Any possibility without reinstalling OSX??? Thanks.
nevermind, I figured it out thanks anyway! In case someone else has similar problems, here's the procedure: 1. go to Applications>Utilities>disk utility 2. Select the HDD you want to change partition in (not one of the partitions themselves, but the actual HDD title), and click on the partition TAB. 3. You can resize, add/remove partitions in this section... but you CANNOT remove the boot partition. Also there will be warnings about which partition will lose data based on what you do in the resizing phase, MAKE SURE YOU READ THE WARNINGS and are prepared to lose data in the partitions indicated. If you need help, go to the disk utility help section and type in partitions.
