How do I delete the silent parts of an audio file using Wave Editor... I use Nero 7. I have an audio sermon that I want to delete the pauses between talking.

I find it easier to use a dedicated audio editor. audacity, is free and easy to use.

import your audio sermon ito audacity, locate the pauses, highlight, then delete.

    you can find audacity below

    audacity.sourceforge.net/

    Hope this helps

But I did not want to have to locate the pauses and highlight every one of them.... In a one hour sermon there can be about 50 diffrentent times a person pauses. This means I would have to highlight the silent/low decible parts of the file and then delete them one at a time. Is there not a better way in nero..
    Thanks for responding.
