hey i have a dell computer i just bought 2nd hand....... its already set to windows 2000 pro, but i want xp on it, how can i put windows xp on it?? i gt the cd n evrything but theres no option on the computer????
u need to explain more what r u saying. im guessing u meant u put the cd in the cd rom drive and it didnt load am i right??
he says theirs no option to that posp up to install it. You have to press f8 (different on some computers) on the black main screen before me boots up and select which drive the discs in. usually d:\ if you dont have a slave drive in the computer. then it should pop up with an option to install. good luck.
