Hi people, need some advice my pc just suddenly died one day won't turn on or light up I`am pretty positive it is the power supply since the machine isn't that old. Does any know how to unattach the psu from the case, it is not a normal psu and I have never dealt with one like this. It attaches to the bottom of the case and is elongated instead of boxy.

Just remove screws untill it gets loose.

The screws are blocked by a plastic case piece and I am not sure if it comes off without snapping feels rather secure.

I am sure it is removable; just figure out where the clips are and press in on the part of the plastic and the clips should release. They would not make a non-removable part...this would make it more difficult and expensive for them to do the repair (and they have to do a lot of these repeairs).

Removed it myself thanks for nothing this piece is not really designed to be removed but can be with a bit of annoyance and few slightly damaged clips with some drops of blood. Its is designed to die and computer be completely replaced or tossed more money on their end. There are no screws to hold it onto the case just plastic strips that are tightly attached.
