When I demux my vob file I end up with a ac3 audio file and a m2v video. I swear before I was able to play the m2v file but now I cannot for some reason. In WMP the screen just comes up and stops, no video comes up. I see that m2v is selected for WMP. It show the file as avicodec.exe as being the file that plays m2v. I assume that the m1v will no longer play either. Maybe the codec took a hit and I have to reload? Any help on what to try would be appreciated. I also have Nero 6, full version on my computer. OS is windows ME. Thanks Joe

I can"t tell you why it worked before and Not now But I can tell you that you should Use a proper Software DVD Player Like WinDVD or PowerDVD to Preview your encoded Mpeg(M1V,M2V) Files...

Media player will never give you a true Representation of how the Video will look On your TV set...
This is because Media Player Ignores Aspect ratio Flags in Mpeg files and displays useing the Resolution not the aspect ratio like it will be on your TV set that is why for DVD/Mpeg Playback it is Best to use a Software DVD Player to emulate what the Picture should look On your TV set and Both WinDVD and PowerDVD should have No Problem with M2V Files.....

    Cheers
