    I accidently made a naughty picture my desktop backround, i changed the backround, but now its stil there under the backround list under properties>desktop>backrounds.

    how do i remove it from that list? help would be a appreciated

    No biggy, just i'd rather have it off just incase someone (my girlfrind parents etc) find it, that would be trouble.

    thanks!

    If you saved the picture, you can delete it from My Pictures and it'll be off the list. But if you just right-clicked the picture and set it as backgroud then follow the directions below. First, make sure you have "Show hidden files and folders" selected and then go to:

    C:\Documents & Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer. You should see a file named Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp in that folder. Just delete that and it should be off the list.

    Don't forget to empty your Recycle Bin :)

    Do a search on your computer:
    SEARCH->
    PICTURES, MUSIC or VIDEO ->
    CHECK PICTURES and PHOTOS ->
    If it's on your PC and obviously is, it will come up. Delete the pick, minimize the search and check to see if it's in your Recycle Bin. If so, Empty the bin. Then do the search again...if you don't see the pic...you've got success on your side
    ;)

    Go to your Documents and Settings Folder and do a Search in that folder. Make sure you have "Search hidden files and folders" selected under More Advanced Options. Search for "Internet Explorer.bmp" It should come up with the picture you put as background.
