    ok whats happening is when i open display properties and go to desktop to change my background image everything in mydocuments/my pictures are mixed in with my wallpapers,is there a way to not show these in there besides moving them because i like having quick access to them from the start menu, thanx for any help.

    Haven't really thought about it before. But I think it defaults to the last location of the image you used. When you go to display properties, and are looking at the wallpaper menu. Click browse, select your root, "C:," then windows. Your windows default wallpaper will be at the end of this folder. Select a design from the folder and it should defult. It may be that windows scanned for all images and pics. This would be in folder settings. I'll play around with it for a while and see if it can be changed.
    EDIT>No, I guess it has to do with the whole "Windows Experience," thing. The other location for your default wallpaper is, C:\windows\web\wallpaper.

    yea thats what got me trying to figure this out, i deleted all the standard windows wallpaper and am slowly building a collection from deviantart, windows really ticks me off sometimes.thanx for looking into it for me.
