I wanted to know what program I could use to read the FPS on a VOB file so that I can tell if a DVD is NTSC or PAL. I know NTSC FPS are something like 23 FPS and 29.xx w/ Pulldown and PAL is 25 FPS. I appreciate all the help since I cannot find the proper information.

It's a downloaded DVD which is not in ISO format, rather a VIDEO_TS folder. There's no way for me to tell the source.

I'm not sure if GSpot will open a vob but it will give you the framerate if it does.

load the vobs into infoedit or voblanker. You can also change from NTSC to Pal using both with pretty good results.

Almost any software player will provide the info. Click on 'Configuration'.

    NTSC 720 X 480

    PAL 720 X 576
