Device Cannot Start (Code 10)-PLEASE HELP!!

    anybody knows what that error message means?? trying to get my dvd burner to work again!!(I/O magic usb external)
    I get this message when i troubleshoot the device with "device manager"
    "Device Cannot Start (Code 10)"

    Have you tried running the volume error check (c:/properties/tools) next to the defrag option. This may help. I had a problem with programs shutting down after opening them. After I ran error check, all's well again.

    I can't the drive doesn't show up on my computer!!! i can't even open the tray!

    Try updating the drivers or simply uninstall it from device manager and reboot. See if that works.
