On my Media Jukebox I can burn MP3's as a data CD and then play them on my home CD/MP3 player. So what is the difference when I burn MP3 files as a data CD compared to burning it as an MP3 music disc? Thanks,
Nothing. A CD full of mp3's is a data CD filled only with mp3's. There are only two types of CDs really. There are Audio CDs and Data CDs. Audio CDs don't contain actual sound data just analog sound information (like vinal records). Data CDs, for example: VCDs (contaning MPEG-1 data) or SVCD, (contaning MPEG-2 data) come in many formats but they all are comprised of "Ones and Zeros" (actually, indentations of a fixed hieght and width that represent ones and zeros). ------------------------------------------------------ FYI: The .cda file extention does not stand for an audio format (its a Win Explorer thing)!
