Digital Camera Problems

    i recently bought a digital camera and it came with: camera,usb connection,instructional guide. But when i connect the usb cord it says 'found new hardware' and it says didnt install new hardware couldnt find data or disc was it supposed to come with a disc? is there any other way to use it? help please!

    check camera site to see if any software is included as usually a cd is included that has programs for photoediting & such

    Have you tried the instructions?

    u need to read the instructions, you need to install drivers and software from the cd that came with the instructions.

    Alot of USB devices now like cameras ask you to install/run the CD first before plugging in the device (unless it states plug and play).
    Once the CD has been installed, then you plug the device in...........

    If your problem isn't fixed yet...I had a similar problem with a video-capture device. I had to download XP SP2 for the update, didn't want to so I returned the product. Was a blessing in disguise cause I found a better one :)
