I bought this burner before I realized that they were not all the same. Through my readings of this thread I cannot find anything about this burner or even ones by the same manufacturer. Does anyone know anything about this burner, or what media seems to work best with it. So far I have reproduced some movies with memorex +R media but I think I'm having a problem with the outer ring as most of the movies freeze near the end.
Look on the drive's label and see if it's an Optorite or BTC. If it's Optorite (DD0203), you can go here and get the info you're looking for along with firmware updates etc. http://www.optorite.com Not sure where the btc site is but you can try google.com if your drive isnt an optorite.
