i have installed a digivox t on mmds on ch*rus, worked fine, picked up 86 channels, but from channels 30 to 86 the name of the channels didnt come in so i had to rename the channels to the correct channels, example " tv1004 to living" does any one have a fix or a channel file to resolve this? by the way i installed this in westmeath, are all the frequencies the same accross ireland, once its on Ch*rus mmds or do they differ from county to county?? like the way ye can use the same channel file for N*l in dublin, any info or help would be greatly appreciated
Don't know anything about this box but just posted to say keep checking back cactikid will get back to you when he can or another memeber, keep the faith (LOL)
i am making enquires about it as it is a box that was never launched fully not like the box t and eurovox tx.
Dont know too much about this box but will be getting one in a few days.Mmds boxes in general have 2 different channel frequenies depending on which area you are in.I think this is due to polarization. We will call these frequencies A and B.I will upload these channel data files as soon as I receive my box.A or B channel files will work on the chorus network no matter where you are. With regards to receiving channel numbers instead of names I have come across this before and it was always down to not receiving a full signal(weak signal).
Below is a link to my Channel Data File A.I will upload the B file presently. http://www.4shared.com/file/65873767/441a7166/Digivox_Terrestrial-_mmds__Channel_Data_File_A.html
I have just bought a digivox-t in ireland (cork)I installed latest software and received all my channels but most of them did not display channel names only numbersreading through some forums I tried the link below to try to get my channel list http://www.4shared.com/file/65873767/441...ata_File_A.html I now have nothing on screen only " chdl " on digivox display How can i get my channels back as i cant even download the software again it keep saying flash failed HELP.....HELP.....HELP
Should never download files unless you know they are safe. I dont have a Digivox T but a chdl message is usually indicative of a bad flash. Only advice I can give is to try a hard boot reflash. That means, take the power off the box and then hit download on the loader, (presume its 3.200 firmware). Wait a few seconds and then power up the box. You may have to try this a few times. As said I cannot gaurantee this will work on a Digivox T. There is a "chdl" fix for other similar box, i.e Eurovox TX which is a bootloader fix but unfortunately no such file for a Digivox T.
Honestly persistence should pay off Do as said power off, hit download and then power up. It may take a while to catch it just a timing thing. If that doesn't work do a factory reset, (remember to turn key emu back on), and try to hit download and power on at the same time.
Pray Joking apart thats the only advice I can give you and it has worked before on other Digivox. Sorry.
